The Northumberlandia 10K Trail Race

Northern Fell Running Events is thrilled to present its flagship Northumberlandia 10K Trail Race, set against the backdrop of one of England's most distinctive landmarks. This year’s edition offers runners an exclusive opportunity to traverse not only the iconic land form but also areas that are typically off-limits to visitors.
The race route weaves through diverse terrains, featuring rolling hills and challenging climbs over Northumberlandia itself. Participants will encounter a mix of fast stone paths, soft trails, and forest tracks before tackling the final stretch—a thrilling finish with its own unique challenges. A water station is strategically placed at mile 4 to keep runners hydrated throughout their journey.
In addition to the main event, there’s a special treat for families: a children's fun run that circles Northumberlandia on a scenic 1-mile loop starting at 6 PM. Free entry for kids who come with an adult registered in the primary race.
The finish line awaits under the glow of evening light as runners complete their journey and receive a bespoke medal to commemorate this unique experience. The event concludes with festivities back at the ‘Event Village,’ where participants can unwind, enjoy refreshments from the café, and browse through various stalls open until 9 PM.
All necessary facilities are available on site, including ample parking and restrooms. Please note that dogs will not be permitted in the race area due to safety regulations, but runners are encouraged to share their experiences via social media as photos and videos may be captured for promotional use.
