Acorn Bank 10k

The Acorn Bank 10k returns for its sixth year, offering runners the chance to explore the scenic grounds of Acorn Bank National Trust Property. This undulating road race is designed for all abilities and covers accurately measured country lanes and tarmac footpaths.
Participants can look forward to a picturesque course that winds through serene landscapes and historic settings within the national trust property. The event starts at 10am, with a safety briefing preceding it in the morning hours. Race numbers will be available from 8:30 am for early arrivals.
Parking is managed by dedicated marshals who ensure smooth operations; a suggested donation of £5 per car includes entry to Acorn Bank estate on race day and supports conservation efforts at this cherished location. All proceeds go directly toward preserving the site for future generations.
The finish line awaits with a treat: all participants receive a generous slice of Traybakes flapjack, including vegan options. Prizes are awarded to overall winners in both male and female categories as well as additional age-group divisions (U23, V40, V50, V60, V70) along with the first club or team of three.
The minimum age requirement for this event is 15 years old. Entry is limited to 200 runners per race due to space constraints and safety regulations. In adherence to UKA rules, participants must not use in-ear headphones during the run; bone-conducting devices that sit in front of the ears are acceptable exceptions.
