The Rangers Run

About the Event

Nestled among the scenic landscapes of Colorado, The Rangers Run offers participants an unforgettable journey through some of the most breathtaking wilderness areas protected by the United States Forest Service. This annual race is not just a run; it's a celebration of conservation and community spirit.
On December 12, 2026, runners will gather at the base of Pike’s Peak to embark on a challenging yet rewarding course that showcases both natural beauty and historical significance. The route winds through dense forests, across clear streams, and past towering peaks, providing an immersive experience in nature's splendor.
Participants can expect varied terrain throughout the race, with stretches requiring runners to navigate rugged trails as well as smoother paths along established forest roads. This diversity ensures that every runner faces unique challenges while enjoying panoramic views of snow-capped mountains and lush greenery.
The Rangers Run is more than a physical challenge; it’s an opportunity for participants to connect with nature and appreciate the efforts of those who work tirelessly to preserve these lands. Alongside dedicated volunteers, rangers will be present throughout the course to provide support and ensure everyone's safety as they traverse this stunning landscape.
For runners looking to experience something truly special on their racing calendar, The Rangers Run offers a unique blend of adventure, camaraderie, and respect for nature’s majesty. Whether you are an avid trail runner or someone who enjoys exploring new places through the sport of running, there is no better way to spend a crisp winter day than by participating in this event.
As dawn breaks on December 12th, runners will set off into a world where every step tells a story about conservation and community. Join us for an experience that goes beyond just crossing the finish line – it’s about leaving your mark on something greater while enjoying one of Colorado's most picturesque trails.
