Join the vibrant community of runners for the Zipping Zebra Run on February 7, 2027, set against the scenic backdrop of Northampton's Washlands. This inclusive and family-friendly event welcomes participants of all abilities, including walkers, ensuring everyone can enjoy a memorable day. The race offers a flexible time challenge format with a minimum distance requirement of just 3 kilometers, allowing you to run as many laps around the well-maintained paths and trails as you wish within the 7-hour window. Each lap measures approximately 4.37 miles (or exactly 7km), making it easy for participants to aim for half-marathon or marathon distances by completing multiple loops. Participants who complete at least 3 kilometers will receive a themed medal, celebrating your achievement in style. For those who run longer distances, distance pins are available: Half-Marathon, Mega-Half (50k), Marathon, and Ultra (70+km). Vegan runners can also look forward to a specially curated goody bag alongside the standard selection of goodies. The event features an aid table with refreshments at both the start/finish area and along the route. Here you'll find drinks and snacks such as crisps, cheese, fruit, cookies, and vegan options to keep your energy levels high throughout the run. For those celebrating a milestone or special achievement during this race, inform us in advance for personalized recognition including a dedicated running number with your name and date of honor. While limited parking is available at the venue, additional spaces can be found nearby. Remember that there are no secure bag storage facilities provided; please do not leave valuables unattended. As you participate, take advantage of headphones to enjoy music or podcasts during your run while being mindful of other path users as the event takes place on public footpaths.
