Kinder Scout Trek To The Source

A grand day of journeying along the course of the River Kinder. From it's confluence with the River Sett in Hayfield, we explore upstream local landmarks, the fairy bridge, woodland, plunge pools, waterfalls and mythology. We then trace a route across the Kinder Plateau, through the maze of cloughs to find the source of the River Kinder and true summit. But the adventure is not over, as we descend there are more scenic delights and photo opportunities. A hilly trek at a relaxed pace over 15km (appx 10 miles). At times, the terrain underfoot is rocky and may also be boggy. There are a couple of steep inclines to walk up. Guided with a maximum of 8 guests by your experienced local Hayfield Mountain Leader.
