Capacity is 700 across Flying General 42K, Three Passes Guard 30K (3-person team, at least one woman), and Post-Road Traveler 12K. Registration is first-come, first-served, with a special discount for this inaugural edition. The 42K (100 runners, 41.84km actual, 2,168m gain/loss) starts 7:00 with a 12-hour cutoff; the 30K team category (300 runners, 29.69km, 1,519m gain/loss) starts 8:00 with a 9-hour cutoff; the 12K (300 runners, 11.76km, 453m gain/loss) starts 8:30 with a 6-hour cutoff. Three Ming-dynasty border passes -- Changyucheng, Hengling, and Zhenbian -- have stood quietly in the Yan Mountains for six hundred years. This autumn, three routes trace the same ridgelines: the 42K a full border grand loop, the 30K a curated border story, and the 12K a lighter taste of it all.
