Tiny's Palm Mile is a 1/2-mile out and 1/2-mile back course around a palm tree lined boulevard.
For some history, the 30th running of the Palm Mile is being revived after 10 years of dormancy. Alonso "Tiny" Barrientes started the first Palm Mile in 1986 through the Brownsville Marathoners, which celebrates their 50th year as a running club.
