TNC At The Rent #3

Welcome to the TNC Series at Rentschler Field, hosted by the Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program (CCAP). This exciting Tuesday night cycling series offers fun and competitive racing for riders of all levels. The 2026 season includes five main races plus a Finale on August 4th.
Race dates are listed as follows:
- June 2nd - TNC #1
- June 9th - TNC #2
- June 30th - TNC #3
- July 7th - TNC #4 Junior Race Night!
- July 28th - TNC #5 Junior Race Night!
The series features both "A" and "B" level races, perfect for novice to experienced Cat-1 Racers. Whether you’re looking to maintain fitness during the off-season or simply have some fun on a Tuesday night, these events are designed with everyone in mind.
Riders can participate at no cost if they volunteer their time. Volunteers will receive a refund after completing their role. For those who wish to race but not volunteer, official results will be recorded. The top three finishers of each race will enjoy an age-appropriate beverage and medal post-race celebration.
On Junior Race Nights, young riders aged nine or older can participate in the B-Race following a practice session at 5:15 PM led by CCAP staff and regional team coaches. Any junior racer under 18 years old is welcome to join for $10, with those on registered teams participating free of charge.
The TNC Series also marks part of "The Waz" Junior Road Race Series in honor of Matt Waskiewicz, a beloved coach and volunteer who passed away tragically. This event continues his legacy by fostering the best in young cyclists.
Additional Notes:
- All USAC rules apply.
- Helmets are required; no tri-bikes or forward-facing bar ends allowed.
- Sleeveless jerseys aren't permitted.
- Riders need either an annual license ($150) or a one-day pass ($15).
