Tour de Trail: Wyandotte County Lake Park

The Tour de Trail: Wyandotte County Lake Park takes place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 7:30 AM at 91st and Leavenworth Rd in Kansas City, Kansas. This 10kish trail run is part of the Tour de Trail series, introducing runners and hikers to the amazing trail systems throughout the Kansas City area.

Event Logistics & Participant Information:

• Registration Deadline: Closes Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:59 PM CT via UltraSignup.
• Race Day Registration: Available from 6:30-7:15 AM (cash, check, Venmo with tap-to-pay).
• Bib Pickup: 6:30-7:15 AM on race day at the start area.
• Race Start: 7:30 AM. Cutoff at 11:30 AM.
• Timing & Results: Clock timing used. Results posted on UltraSignup.
• Trail Closures Policy: Due to rain, alternate courses (cross country, equestrian trails, paved trail, or combo) may be used. Decisions made with Urban Trail Co and land managers. Check urbantrailco.com before heading out.
• Course Marking: Distinctive flagging/markings with pre-race briefing explanation.
• Road Crossings: Parks and roads remain open. Runners are responsible for safe crossing.
• No Littering: Pack out all wrappers, tissues, bottles. Littering leads to disqualification.
• No Poles Allowed: Exceptions for medical circumstances contact RD.
• No Alcohol: Prohibited in Johnson County parks.
• Dogs: Allowed on leash, under control. Owners must pick up after dogs. Violation leads to disqualification.
• Headphones: Personal music devices allowed with headphones. No speakers. One earbud or bone conducting recommended.
• Passing: Announce intent, pass on left when safe. On out-and-back sections, yield to returning runner.
• Kids: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult for the entire race.

Swag, Awards & Community:

• Community Support: $5 of each entry fee donated to Urban Trail Co (local 501c3 building and maintaining KC area trails).
• Series Format: 6 different trails throughout summer. Discount available for signing up for all 6 before May 22.
• Series Completion Award: Runners completing all 6 races receive a special piece of swag (past years: locally made mugs, custom sweatshirts; 2026: cozy sweatpants).
• Per Race Swag: All registrants receive a sticker branded specifically for each trail system. Special handmade finisher award specific to each stage.
• Podium Awards: First, second, and third place for women, men, and non-binary categories.
• Trail Mix Fund Partnership: Registration fee waivers available for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community members through Trail Mix Fund (501c3 non-profit). Donations accepted during registration.
• Inclusive Spirit: Welcomes runners and hikers of all abilities.
• Course Etiquette: Single track courses — be courteous, stay alert, yield appropriately.
