Trail de la Dent d'Orlu

Immerse yourself in the legendary trails of Orlu, a charming village nestled at an altitude of 840 meters. This challenging trail race takes runners on an unforgettable journey to the summit of La Belle Canine, reaching heights of 2,222 meters above sea level.
The course begins with a steady climb along the forest track leading up to Col de l'Osque, where participants will experience breathtaking views through dense woodland before descending via the Dent d’Orlu trail. The route then transitions into more rugged terrain as it ascends towards La Belle Canine's summit, offering stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains and forests.
Throughout this 14-kilometer journey, runners must conquer a daunting elevation gain of 1,600 meters, making for an exhilarating yet demanding experience. The race organizers have thoughtfully placed three full-service aid stations along with four water points to ensure participants stay hydrated and fueled throughout their ascent.
Departure is set at 8:30 AM, providing ample time to absorb the serene beauty of this mountainous region before setting off on a day filled with adventure. For those wishing to share the challenge, teams of two are welcome to participate in relay format.
Upon reaching the summit, runners will be rewarded not only by their personal achievement but also by the awe-inspiring views that await them at La Belle Canine’s peak.
