Welcome to the Talbert Runners Association's annual race, where nature enthusiasts and trail runners alike can explore the breathtaking landscapes of Pleubian and Kerbors. This year’s edition introduces an exciting 28-kilometer route alongside familiar options like the 8- and 14-kilometer loops from previous years. The event has been carefully scheduled to start in the morning, offering participants a fresh perspective on this scenic terrain. The courses feature a mix of approximately one-third paved roads and two-thirds off-road trails, including sections along the GR34 route and stretches of exposed tidal flats (estran). This diverse landscape ensures runners experience both challenging climbs and serene coastal views throughout their journey. A key highlight is the event’s charitable aspect: all proceeds will be equally distributed among four local associations supporting children's welfare in Pleubian and Kerbors, including the Vrilouz Association of Kerbors, the Young Volunteer Firefighters' Corps from Pleubian Casern, as well as both public and private schools within Pleubian. The event offers a variety of categories suitable for all ages. Non-competitive events include 7-kilometer and 10-kilometer walks starting at 13:30 with flexible departure times until 14:30, making it convenient for families to join in together. Children's races range from a short 500-meter dash up to a more challenging 1.5 kilometers, all designed specifically by age group. For those seeking competition and recognition, the trail running events include an adult-friendly 28-kilometer route starting at 9:00 AM followed by a shorter but equally demanding 14-kilometer course beginning at 10:50 AM. These courses are timed with podium finishes awarded to top male and female runners in each distance. Participants can also enjoy the unique experience of a 15-kilometer nordic walking race, which begins just after the trail events at 9:30 AM. Both competitive races offer additional prizes for young athletes born from 2010 onwards, such as age-specific podium spots and special recognition awards like the Régis Lemée trophy. Racers will find well-placed hydration stations throughout each course, ensuring they stay refreshed along their route. The event also includes a dossard lottery where runners can win one of over 130 prizes after crossing the finish line by keeping their bibs intact post-race. Dossards are available for collection on race day from 8:00 AM at Kermagen Beach playground, and late entries will be accepted without additional fees starting at 11:00 AM. Competitors in timed events must present a valid FFA license or medical attestation if they wish to register on site.
