Trail des 4 Piliers

The Trail des 4 Piliers returns to Bazainville, France on November 29, 2026, offering runners and Nordic walkers a unique blend of challenging terrain and scenic routes. The event features three trail distances—43 km, 33 km, and 14 km—as well as a 14-kilometer Nordic walking course.
The longer trails boast significant elevation gains: the full marathon route climbs over 500 meters while the half-marathon ascends nearly 410 meters. The shorter trail options are equally demanding with respective elevations of 180 meters for both the run and walk courses. All routes have been carefully designed to showcase the natural beauty around Bazainville, including new sections added specifically to enhance the 14-kilometer route.
Participants in the longer races will enjoy a certified FFA Bronze label event that also qualifies runners for the French National Trail Championship. Race fees are structured with early bird discounts available until April 30th at €38 (trail), May 31st at €40, and June 17th at €44 for the longest trail option.
For those choosing the shorter distances, entry costs start at just €16 for both the run and Nordic walk versions of the 14-kilometer route. A small fee is added to each registration: €1.85 for longer trails and €1.50 for the shorter ones. Discounted rates are also available for FFA members, who receive a reduction of €2 on their entry fees.
