Trail des Allumés du Barry

About the Event

Immerse yourself in the wild beauty of the Barry Plateau on April 11, 2027, for an unforgettable trail running experience. The Trail des Allumés du Barry E.Leclerc Bollene offers a challenging course with stunning scenery and unique terrain that will test even the most seasoned runners.
The event features four distinct distances: a grueling 24km route with over 1,000 meters of elevation gain, a more moderate 15km option with 700m ascent, an 8km trek for those looking to explore shorter trails, and children's races including 1km and 2km loops around the charming village. The trail winds through breathtaking singletrack paths surrounded by lush vegetation, offering runners unparalleled views and a thrilling challenge.
Participants will pass through a troglodyte village and encounter various checkpoints along their journey. For the daring souls tackling the full 24km route, there is a critical time barrier at the 17th kilometer near the parking lot of the troglodytes' area; runners must reach this checkpoint by 11:50 AM to continue beyond it and finish before the final cut-off at 13:00 PM.
The race atmosphere is electric, with a unique theme that adds an extra layer of excitement. Competitors are encouraged to embrace their inner adventurer as they navigate challenging ascents and descents through this exceptional landscape. The event culminates in recognition for top finishers across multiple categories, including age groups and mixed teams, alongside awards for the most spirited costumes.
Join us on April 11th to celebrate trail running's spirit of adventure and camaraderie amidst one of France’s most awe-inspiring natural settings.
