TRAIL DES FOSSES

Experience the inaugural edition of this exceptional race in Fournès, where sport and community come together for an unforgettable day. The 10.65 km course blends trail running with scenic paths through the stunning Fosses de Fournès landscape. With a total elevation gain of 235 meters and several technical sections, runners will encounter challenging terrain while enjoying breathtaking views.
The event is designed to be intimate and welcoming, fostering a spirit of camaraderie among participants. Along the route, multiple aid stations provide essential support, including a mid-point stop and an exuberant final station offering homemade treats, local delicacies, and refreshing beer.
For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, a 5 km hike with 120 meters of elevation gain is also available, featuring its own set of technical sections. Both events celebrate the rich heritage of Fournès by highlighting local products in prizes that are entirely sourced from within the region.
This inaugural race carries special significance as it honors Lulu, an esteemed runner and member of the community who passed away too soon. A heartfelt tribute to his memory will be a poignant highlight of the day, reinforcing the event's commitment to unity and remembrance.
Proceeds from this event will benefit a charitable cause, underscoring how sport can also serve as a vehicle for social good. Join us in Fournès on April 11, 2027, for an experience that promises to be etched deeply into the memories of all who attend.
