Trail des Mines by Trémuson - Sixth Edition Join us on September 13, 2026 for an unforgettable adventure as we welcome runners of all levels to the scenic trails around Tremuson. This year’s edition offers three distinct distances: a beginner-friendly 8 km route with gentle terrain and stunning natural beauty; a more challenging intermediate option at 15 km that explores new sections including the Saint Barthélémy dam; and an advanced 24 km trail for seasoned runners seeking a rigorous challenge through varied landscapes. The event kicks off early in the morning, allowing participants to enjoy the crisp air and serene surroundings as they set out on their chosen route. The shorter distance starts at 10:15 AM with a manageable elevation gain of 150 meters, perfect for those new to trail running or looking for an easy outing into nature. At 10:00 AM, runners tackling the intermediate course will face a more demanding ascent of 370 meters over a picturesque route that winds through lesser-known paths and features unique viewpoints. For experienced athletes up for a true test of endurance, the longest distance begins at 9:30 AM with an elevation gain of 615 meters across diverse terrain. This challenging course promises breathtaking views and technical sections designed to push runners to their limits while rewarding them with scenic vistas and exhilarating descents. In addition to these adult races, Trail des Mines introduces a special program for young runners. The "Course des Minots" features two distances: the 750-meter race for children born in 2018-2020 and the 1.5-kilometer trail run for those born in 2016-2017, both scheduled after the main event starts at 11:30 AM and 11:45 AM respectively. Participants will find a variety of amenities on-site to enhance their experience. A selfie station allows everyone to capture memories from this special day with personalized photos available before or after completing their run. Refreshments are also provided for post-race recovery, ensuring runners can enjoy the camaraderie and celebration that follows crossing the finish line. All competitors will receive a commemorative item upon completion of any distance, while additional prizes await those who secure top finishes in each race category. Plus, there’s an exciting raffle with numerous giveaways to be won using your bib number for added fun.
