The course winds through the picturesque site with a challenging profile that features over 300 meters of elevation gain across its roughly 80% off-road terrain.
The event offers both runners and hikers opportunities to explore the area’s natural beauty, while also providing a vibrant village atmosphere for participants and their companions. Enjoy live traditional music at one of several rest stops along the route, adding a unique cultural touch to your journey through this historic landscape.
Activities kick off early with registration starting at 9:00 AM followed by race start times at 9:30 AM for runners and 10:00 AM for hikers. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy various festivities including an ancient threshing demonstration, folkloric performances, traditional dance lessons, and local cuisine.
Facilities on site include ample parking right beside Mont-Gargan, as well as food services and medical support staff to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the event. Gather at the summit of Mont-Gargan in front of the chapel for race day registration and departure.
