Day 1: Arrival in Quiberon
Begin your adventure with a stay at a charming hotel in Quiberon. After settling in, explore the historic town and perhaps catch the "tire-bouchon" train to nearby Plouharnel for an early start on Day 2.
Day 2: Penthièvre Coast Trail
Embark on a challenging 22-kilometer run along the rugged coast of Penthièvre. The route features rolling terrain with sand, small rocks, and grass, offering stunning ocean views at every turn. Nourish yourself in the evening back at your hotel.
Day 3: Houat Island Traverse
Travel to Houat by boat for a day filled with natural splendor. Covering approximately 14.5 kilometers on sandy trails and coastal paths, this run is both exhilarating and serene. Spend the night at a local hotel before setting sail back to Belle-Île-en-Mer.
Day 4: Northern Coast of Belle-Île
Navigate the technical yet beautiful northern coast from Le Palais to Port-Coton. The route climbs steeply with breathtaking views, testing your endurance as you tackle rocky and uneven terrain. Conclude the day with a bus ride back to Le Palais for some well-deserved rest.
Day 5: Southern Coast of Belle-Île
Conquer the formidable southern coast from Port-Coton to Le Palais. Covering nearly 41 kilometers, this run challenges you on winding paths and steep ascents before rewarding you with panoramic views at the end. Return by bus for a night in comfort.
Day 6: Departure Back to Quiberon
Enjoy leisure time or explore local attractions before your return journey from Le Palais to Quiberon. This final leg of your adventure concludes on land, marking the successful completion of an unforgettable trail running experience.
