Trail of Honor: Celebrating Cody Myers' Legacy On Sunday, October 11, the Lock Haven community invites runners to participate in an inspiring 8.7-mile trail race dedicated to honoring CPT Cody Myers. This memorial race through scenic woodland trails is a tribute to his dedication to service and leadership. The route starts and finishes at the Sons of Italy Campground, winding along Scootac Road on an out-and-back course that showcases both flat terrain and gentle elevation changes. The mix of dirt paths and forested tracks offers runners the chance to maintain a steady pace while enjoying the natural beauty around them. Two aid stations are positioned at approximately mile 2.25 and mile 4.25, providing water, electrolytes, and snacks for participants along their journey. The crisp autumn air and vibrant fall foliage enhance the experience, creating an invigorating backdrop to the race’s meaningful purpose. The atmosphere of this event is warm and welcoming, with a strong emphasis on community support rather than competition.
