REGISTRATION WILL OPEN IN JANUARY 2027!!
Join us Saturday, May 8, 2027 at 8:30 a.m. for our fifth annual 5K and 1 mile run/walk. Trail to Recovery, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to support the recovery community in Cleveland County. Proceeds will benefit Cleveland County recovery court programs as well as other local organizations who provide substance abuse and mental health services.
Awards will be given to the overall top male and female finishers as well as the top 3 finishers in each age division (5K only).
Course description: This is a trail run through a well maintained community park in Norman, OK. It is mostly flat with a few slight hills and consists of grass, sidewalk and some gravel surfaces. The course is smooth and safe for all runners/walkers and is often used for local high school cross country races.
Parking/Accommodations: Parking is available on the west side of the park off of 36th Ave near Franklin Road. Overflow parking will be at All Saints Catholic School which is just south of the park and Christ Church which is just north and across the street from the park. Parking is available on the north side of the park (Franklin Road), but not recommended because of the distance from the start/finish line. There will be volunteers at the event to help with parking and crossing 36th street (if necessary). Restrooms are located in the main parking lot.
