Tri Dog Events Weekend, September 2026

Tri Dog's Multiple Event Weekend is set to return on September 19th and 20th, 2026 at Box End Park in Bedfordshire. This unique gathering offers five distinct races: Triathlon, AquaBike, Aquathon, Duathlon, and Canicross, catering to a wide range of athletes from novices to seasoned competitors.
Box End Park is renowned for its picturesque setting with two stunning lakes offering clear waters perfect for swimming. The park's diverse terrain features flat stretches ideal for cycling and running, making it an excellent venue for multisport events. Additionally, the park boasts facilities like cable tow water skiing, wakeboarding, and a dedicated Aqua Park.
Registration opens at 6:45 AM on both days, with race briefings starting at 7:20 AM (mandatory attendance). Transition areas will be available from 7 to 7:45 AM for participants to organize their gear. Race starts are scheduled to begin promptly at 8:00 AM.
Entry fees vary depending on the event and whether you're participating in both days or just one. For instance, a full Triathlon entry costs £65 across two days, while individual day entries cost £35 for the same race. Similar pricing structures apply to other events like AquaBike (£60), Aquathon (£60), Duathlon (£55), and Canicross (£40).
Prizes are awarded based on overall combined times from both days in each category. Spot prizes will also be given out during the event.
The Tri Dog weekend features various race distances, ranging from approximately 80 meters of swimming to up to 5 kilometers of running or cycling with your canine companion. Each dog must adhere to age restrictions: at least 12 months for Canicross and 18 months for other events like Duathlon and AquaBike.
Participants will be divided into Hare (for experienced athletes) and Tortoise (for beginners learning the ropes). This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Each dog is limited to one race per day, emphasizing both safety and fairness among competitors.
