TRI for Real Triathlon #2

TRI for REAL Triathlon Series invites triathletes to challenge themselves at Rancho Seco Park, located just outside of Herald, California, with three Olympic-distance races scheduled throughout the summer. The series features events on June 5th, July 10th, and August 7th, each offering a unique blend of scenic beauty and competitive spirit.
Participants can choose from several race formats: the full TRI for REAL Triathlon featuring a 1.5-kilometer swim, followed by a 40-kilometer bike ride, and concluding with a 10-kilometer run; an Aquabike event combining swimming and cycling without the running leg; or the Real Super Sprint Triathlon, which is shorter but equally intense at just under half the distance of the main race. Relay teams are also welcome to join in on July 10th.
For those who aim for a championship title, racing all three Olympic-distance events will make you eligible for age-group Series Champion awards across five-year brackets for both men and women. Each event promises post-race refreshments and an exclusive finisher's item as part of the race day experience.
Race morning starts early with packet pick-up available from 6:30 a.m., providing athletes ample time to prepare before their respective start times. The park entrance fee is $15 per vehicle, but entry into Rancho Seco Park will be restricted between 7:30 and 8 a.m. due to course setup for the Super Sprint Triathlon.
Volunteers are an integral part of TRI for REAL's success, with opportunities available through TBF Racing’s Race for FREE Athlete Volunteer Program. This program allows volunteers to earn valuable credits towards future race entries while enjoying their involvement in multi-sport events.
Entries into any event within this series can be transferred once per year between different races organized by TBF Racing, subject to a $25 transfer fee and no transfers allowed during the week of each scheduled event. Race day is rain or shine, ensuring that competitors will face whatever weather conditions arise on race morning.
