Triathlon de la baie d'Armor 2026

On October 4, 2026, the picturesque town of St-Quay Portrieux-Treveneuc will host the seventh edition of the Triathlon de la Baie d'Armor. This coastal spectacle offers two race formats: the challenging Standard (S) and a more accessible X-Small (XS), designed for beginners or those looking to enjoy the event in shorter distances.
The triathlon begins with an invigorating swim along the pristine waters near the Casino Beach, marked by just two buoys. Participants will navigate through the waves twice if they are competing on the XS format and three times for the S category, ensuring a memorable start against the backdrop of St-Quay Portrieux's stunning coastline.
The cycling leg follows, taking athletes along the coast in a clockwise direction with the Standard course offering an additional loop compared to the X-Small. The route is known for its scenic beauty but also presents some challenging terrain that will test even seasoned triathletes' endurance and skill.
After a transition period where racers change from bike to run, participants face the running segment of the event, which loops anti-clockwise around Treveneuc's picturesque peninsula. This course offers breathtaking views and an equally rewarding challenge for runners as they navigate through this unique landscape.
