The S-1200 distance begins with a swim in Saint-Rémy-de-Maurienne’s waters over a distance of 700 meters. Participants then transition into their cycling gear for an intense ride covering 20 kilometers and ascending a total elevation gain of 1,200 meters before concluding with a run along the picturesque trails of Saint-François-Longchamp, featuring a climb of just 100 vertical meters over its 4-kilometer course.
For those seeking more challenge, the M-2200 distance includes an extended swim of 1,300 meters followed by a grueling cycle ride through some of the Alps' most iconic climbs. Cyclists will tackle the famous Montvernier hairpins and the daunting Col du Chaussy before descending to Saint-François-Longchamp for an 8-kilometer run that ascends another 200 vertical meters.
The L-3400 distance caters to elite athletes, starting with a substantial swim of 1,800 meters. Cyclists then face the ultimate test: a staggering 100 kilometers filled with relentless climbs including Montvernier's hairpins, Col de la Croix de Fer, Col du Glandon, and the formidable ascent up Montgellafrey. The day concludes with a challenging 16-kilometer run that includes an additional climb of 400 vertical meters.
