Trick or Trot 2026, set for October 31st in the historic downtown of Waterloo, Ontario, invites runners and families to celebrate Halloween with a themed run through vibrant parks and bustling streets. The race offers two exciting options: a 200-meter fun run and a 5K event.
The course begins at the picturesque Waterloo Community Park before weaving through charming neighborhoods back to its starting point. Runners will enjoy a firm yet slightly soft surface, thanks to recent rains, providing an enjoyable challenge on race day. The temperature is expected between 6.5°C and 15.4°C (mid-teens when outdoors), with average humidity at 75%. A wind speed of around 13 km/h should not significantly affect your run.
Minimal elevation changes ensure no steep hills, making the course accessible for all participants. Registration fees are CA$18.58 for the fun run and CA$51.26 (free for stroller occupants) for the 5K race; both require runners to be at least 12 years old.
