Trofeo Kima

About the Event

The Trofeo Kima is a flagship event for skyrunners, renowned for its extremely technical 52 km course that crosses seven mountain passes with a total elevation gain of 8,400 meters. Moraines, snowfields, and exposed ridgelines characterize the entire route, which is equipped with fixed ropes at key sections to ensure runner safety.

The 2026 edition will be a stage of the Merrell Skyrunner® World Series and will take place on a Saturday, with a possible rescheduled race on the following day in case of adverse weather conditions.

Val Masino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) northeast of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Sondrio, on the border with Switzerland.
