About the Event

Join the Typhoonloop in Gorinchem, an exciting race that caters to runners of all levels. Whether you're just starting out or looking for a challenge, this event offers something special for everyone.
The main recreational run features two routes: 6 kilometers and 10 kilometers through picturesque countryside surroundings. Both distances are designed to be manageable yet enjoyable, with the 10-kilometer course also qualifying as part of the StardGRL circuit and certified by official standards. The race starts and finishes at Typhoon's athletics track, providing a scenic backdrop for runners.
In addition to these routes, there’s a youth run offering two distances: 400 meters and 1600 meters, designed specifically for younger participants who can sign up with classmates or friends. This section of the event encourages young athletes to experience running in an organized setting while enjoying the thrill of competition on familiar tracks.
Registration fees are as follows:
- Youth Run (400m & 1600m): €5
- Recreational/Precision Runs:
- 6km: €12 (for participants aged 12 and above)
- 10km: €15 (for those aged 14 and older)
