Ultra BOLIVIA Race

The Ultra Bolivia Race route crosses some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Latin America. The race starts in Salinas, 550 km south of La Paz. The first stage takes you towards the Salar de Coipasa before reaching the Alcaya archaeological site on the second day of competition. Crossing this site will take you to an altitude of 4,100 meters in the heart of the wild Altiplano: an arid landscape surrounded by volcanoes, some exceeding 6,000 meters. The third and fourth stages will lead you through authentic villages and to the foot of the Tunupa Volcano (5,400 meters). The next leg of the journey takes you across the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat (10,000 km² of salt at an altitude of 3,650 meters). You'll discover Isla del Pescado and Isla Incahuasi with their giant cacti. The immensity of the Salar de Uyuni and the harmonious colors of the Altiplano will provide you with a truly unique experience!
