Ultra X Rwanda 2027 invites runners on an unforgettable adventure through the stunning landscapes of northern Rwanda. Spanning two days and covering the districts of Burera and Musanze, this multi-stage ultra marathon offers participants a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural immersion. The race route winds around Volcanoes National Park, home to some of the world's most majestic mountain gorillas, as well as past the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera. Runners will traverse gentle hills and valleys, passing through traditional coffee and banana plantations that are blanketed in lush vegetation reminiscent of a dense jungle. The course is dotted with breathtaking views of Rwanda’s five iconic volcanoes: Mt Muhabura, Mt Sabyinyo, Mt Karisimbi, Mt Bisoke, and Mt Gahinga.
