The XIX Ultra Marathon Caminhos do Tejo will take place from Friday, June 5, 2026, to Saturday, June 6, 2026, with a 144 km race starting at 8:00 PM on June 5 from the Portugal Pavilion in Parque das Nações, Lisbon, and a 58 km race starting at 9:00 AM on June 6 from the former Cavalry Training School in Santarém. Both distances follow the pilgrimage routes to the Sanctuary of Fátima, finishing in Fátima at Luís Kondor Square. Maximum participation is limited to 200 runners.

All participants must follow event rules as provided by the organizer. The race to Fátima is described as much more than a promise — it is a moment of inner reflection, sharing experiences, and challenging physical endurance. Reaching the destination represents a world of emotions and immense hope for life.
The 144 km race starts at night (8:00 PM) from Lisbon’s Parque das Nações. The 58 km race starts the following morning from Santarém. Both courses follow the traditional pilgrimage paths to the Sanctuary of Fátima. The event is in its 19th edition (XIX).
