The route is meticulously measured by Swedish Athletics Federation (SFIF) officials, and each kilometer is clearly marked for easy navigation. ### Start Times - Marathon: 11:00 AM - Half-Marathon: 12:00 PM For slower runners aiming to complete the marathon in over four hours and forty-five minutes, an early start at 10:00 AM is available upon request. Participants should inform organizers beforehand if they plan on starting as a slow runner. ### Course Highlights The course features flat terrain with scenic views of Umeälven throughout its length. Runners will have the opportunity to cross several bridges and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds them, making for an engaging race experience. Water stations are strategically placed every four kilometers along the route, providing runners with Umara sports drinks and water to keep hydrated during their run. ### Registration Entry fees must be paid by October 7th. The total number of participants is capped at 700 runners to ensure a smooth running event. Late registrations can still be made if spots are available on race day via Swish or cash payments. - Marathon: SEK 500 (Late entry: SEK 600) - Half-Marathon: SEK 300 (Late entry: SEK 400) Included in the registration fee is a participation medal, Umara energy bars, coffee and sandwiches after the race, as well as a chance to win prizes through raffles for marathon participants. ### Prize Awards The event includes awards for both the half-marathon and full marathon. For the half-marathon, winners will be announced immediately upon crossing the finish line at 12:00 PM sharp.
