Experience unPAved of the Susquehanna River Valley, where adventure and natural beauty converge. This unique cycling festival offers diverse routes catering to all skill levels and preferences. The Race for Whoopie Pies challenges you with 130 miles of rugged terrain, including a grueling 78% unpaved section that climbs over 12,000 feet in elevation. The race is divided into four timed segments totaling 56 miles, ensuring an intense yet manageable experience. Prizes await the top three finishers, with $3,000 up for grabs. All participants receive a refreshing whoopie pie upon crossing the finish line. For those seeking a less demanding challenge, unPAved offers two Rusty Rail routes that start and end in Mifflinburg, blending scenic views of the valley with manageable distances. The Pierogi Pace category allows you to ride either full course or a shorter route at your own pace without timing pressure, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy the scenery. SlumberPArty enthusiasts can look forward to an overnight adventure in R.B. Winter State Park. Starting on Saturday and finishing on Sunday, this event combines cycling with a cozy sleepover, providing a unique experience that is sure to leave lasting memories. Ultra-cyclists will find their match in Big Lick 200, where the course demands not only endurance but also self-reliance as you tackle numerous hills under the cover of darkness. This category caters to those who are ready for an ultimate test of physical and mental strength. All routes at unPAved build upon each other, allowing participants flexibility in choosing their path based on how they feel that day. Whether you're aiming for a full 130 miles or just a shorter ride, everyone receives a finisher prize at the DONEpaved Party, celebrating all who cross the line. The registration schedule is as follows: - September 22: Deadline to apply for Big Lick 200 - September 30: Registration closes for SlumberPArty - October 8: Final day to register for Full-130 Race and Pierogi Pace categories, or "Choose Your Own Adventure Ride" - October 9: Pre-registration ends; in-person registration available at the Lewisburg Fall Festival from 9am to 4pm Important notes: - No refunds are given after September 22. - Deferral requests for Big Lick 200 must be made by August 30, 2026 (45 days before unPAved-SRV). - Transfers and category changes need to occur by October 1, 2025 (10 days before the event).
