Urban Trail de la Sainte Anne

On July 18, 2026, the charming coastal town of Vallauris will host its second annual Sainte Anne festival race. Organized by VIVALGO, this unique running event invites participants to explore the historic heart of Vallauris through a scenic 9-kilometer course.
The route winds through narrow cobblestone streets and picturesque squares that are steeped in local history and artistry. Each lap covers exactly two kilometers as runners circle around the town center four times. Notable landmarks along the way include the charming Church of Sainte Anne, with its quaint medieval architecture, and a visit to Picasso's iconic sculpture "L'homme au mouton" on Place de l’Homme au Mouton.
The race is designed for both individual runners and relay teams consisting of two participants. Participants are encouraged to embrace the festive atmosphere by dressing up in creative costumes or outfits that reflect their passion for running, adding a playful twist to this otherwise competitive event.
Race day begins at 6:00 PM with simultaneous starts for all competitors from Espace Grandjean on Rue du Stade. Throughout the course, water stations are strategically placed to keep runners hydrated as they navigate through the historic district's winding paths and bustling squares.
To celebrate the achievements of those who participate, prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the overall race standings.
