Feltre Urban Trail is an evening race and walk organized by the Giro delle Mura City of Feltre Association under the auspices of CSI, with sponsorship from the Municipality of Feltre. Scheduled for Friday, August 28, 2026 at 8:00 PM, this event offers both a competitive run and a recreational walk along the same scenic route. The competitive race is open to men and women aged eighteen years or older as of the day before the start date. Participants must provide a medical certificate attesting their fitness for athletic competition from an authorized sports physician, valid at the time of registration. For those who wish to take part in the recreational walk, no such certification is required. The event takes place on a 10-kilometer closed-loop course within Feltre's historic city center, featuring landmarks and attractions that highlight the town’s rich cultural heritage. The route includes paved roads, sidewalks, gardens, staircases, and stretches of dirt paths. Starting and finishing at Largo Castaldi, runners will be guided by brightly colored ribbons and signs along their journey. Registration for both events opens on June 20, 2026, and closes either when the limit of 1000 participants is reached or on August 26, 2026. Participants can sign up online at www.girodellemura.it or through authorized registration points in Feltre. Competitive runners must wear a race bib with an embedded timing chip that remains unaltered throughout the event and carry a headlamp to ensure visibility during the evening run. The recreational walk also requires participants to have their bib visible but does not mandate additional lighting equipment. Both events emphasize adherence to marked paths, enforced by volunteers stationed along the route. Competitors will find water stations midway through the race course, ensuring that runners can stay hydrated throughout their journey. Medical assistance is available at both the start and finish lines, with ambulances positioned strategically around the track for added safety. The competitive event features a general ranking based on completion time as well as separate rankings for female participants. Medals are awarded to the top ten male and female competitors in overall standings and to the first three runners born before 1975. Additional awards go to groups with at least fifteen registered members, fostering camaraderie among teams. Feltre Urban Trail promises an engaging evening under the stars, blending sport with exploration of Feltre’s unique urban landscape. Join us for a memorable night filled with history and movement as you experience this charming city in a whole new light.
