Experience the grandeur of Scandinavia's largest ultra trail race at Ultravasan 90. This epic journey begins before dawn from Berga by Sälen, where runners are greeted with the serene beauty of morning light over marshes and forests as they head towards Mora. The route follows every twist and turn of the legendary Vasaloppet path, a course steeped in history that challenges even the most seasoned endurance athletes.
Runners will traverse through classic Swedish landscapes, from dense pine woods to expansive wetlands, with sections of narrow trails adding an extra layer of difficulty. Each mile offers unique terrain variations, including well-prepared tracks and gravel roads, ensuring a diverse yet runnable experience throughout the 90-kilometer journey.
The race weekend is packed with events, allowing participants to choose their level of commitment. In addition to Ultravasan 90, runners can tackle shorter distances like Trailvasan 30 starting in Oxberg or Ultravasan 45 for a more moderate challenge. The festivities kick off on Friday night with the intimate Trailvasan 10 in Mora and continue into Saturday morning when participants gather at Berga by Sälen to begin their long-distance adventure.
