Veterans Day 5k

Celebrate Veterans Day with the Mills River Park 5K Run on Sunday, November 8th. This community event offers more than just a race; it's an opportunity to honor our veterans while supporting the important work of the Veterans Healing Farm.
The 5K course weaves through the picturesque family-friendly greenway at Mills River Park, providing runners and walkers of all ages and abilities with a scenic route that enhances your experience. Participants will enjoy chip timing, a finisher medal, and race shirts upon registration.
For those looking for something shorter or more leisurely, we also offer an untimed fun run loop approximately 1/2 mile in length. Perfect for kids and families, this flat course is designed to be enjoyed at any pace. Parents are welcome to join their children on the loop, and while there will be no competitive awards given out here, you'll still receive a finisher medal and bib.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Veterans Healing Farm, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans through agricultural therapy, community engagement, and hands-on healing experiences.
