Village of Rockville Centre 5K & 1 Mile Family Fun Run 2026

On Saturday, November 14, 2026, Rockville Centre will host its annual Village of Rockville Centre 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run. Set to take place rain or shine, this community-driven race welcomes runners of all ages and abilities.
The day kicks off with the 1 Mile Fun Run at 9:30 AM, designed for families and young athletes looking for a shorter distance that still offers plenty of excitement and fun. The event provides an opportunity for parents to run alongside their children while enjoying the picturesque surroundings of Rockville Centre.
Following closely behind is the main attraction – the 5K race starting promptly at 8:30 AM. This scenic course winds through the heart of the village, showcasing its historic charm and vibrant atmosphere. Participants will experience a mix of flat terrain and slight elevation changes that challenge runners while providing stunning views along the way.
The first 100 children to register for the Fun Run are guaranteed a commemorative shirt as part of their race package. Similarly, the initial 300 registrants for the 5K receive exclusive shirts celebrating this year’s event.
