Walk for Glacier View Lodge

On Sunday, September 20, 2026, join the vibrant community of Courtenay and beyond as we come together for the 3rd Annual Walk for Glacier View Lodge. This year's theme, "Together for Glacier View: We Walk, We Give, We Grow," invites participants to contribute not just through their steps but also by fostering a sense of unity and support.
The walk offers two options: enjoy a scenic 2-kilometer stroll on the picturesque grounds of Glacier View Lodge or participate virtually from any location. Participants will have the chance to view plans for future seniors' housing in the Comox Valley, imagining how your contributions can shape a better tomorrow.
Kick off at 1 PM sharp at Glacier View Lodge located at 2450 Back Road, Courtenay. Allow ample time for parking and check-in; detailed parking information is available on the Course Map found to the left of this page.
Whether you're walking or simply here to appreciate the view of Comox Glacier and surrounding mountains, everyone's presence brings warmth and support. The event welcomes residents' families, members of the society, friends of Glacier View Lodge (GVL), and business supporters alike—everyone is encouraged to participate!
Post-walk festivities include a tour through the beautiful gardens at Glacier View Lodge followed by an entertaining performance from local guitar-playing singer-songwriter Sherri Smith. Light refreshments will be provided, creating a perfect opportunity for networking and relaxation.
