Wayside 5k

The annual Wayfinder Race, celebrating its 34th edition this fall, invites runners and walkers alike to explore the picturesque grounds of the historic Wayside Inn in Sudbury, Massachusetts. This beloved community-run event takes place on October 3rd, offering a scenic five-kilometer course that showcases the area's natural beauty.
Starting and finishing at the main entrance of Wayside Inn, participants will traverse well-maintained trails, taking in sweeping views of waterways and lush woodlands. The race is designed to cater to both seasoned runners and casual walkers, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all. Race day conditions are anticipated to be mild, with temperatures ranging between 47°F (8.5°C) and 63°F (17.4°C), creating a comfortable atmosphere.
On the preceding evening of race day, October 2nd from noon until 8 PM, bibs can be picked up at Wayside Inn. Participants should bring their confirmation email and photo ID for this process. The event kicks off promptly at 8 AM on October 3rd, welcoming runners who must be at least ten years old.
