On November 22, 2026, the Wedertcross race organized by AVV will take place in Valkenswaard. This annual cross-country running event welcomes both recreational runners and competitive athletes to enjoy an exhilarating course through scenic forest paths.

For young participants, there are separate youth races tailored specifically for children aged U8 through U16 who aren’t affiliated with any club or organization. These categories provide a fun introduction to cross-country running on shorter distances that still offer the unique experience of racing over bumpy and hilly terrain.
All competitors will have the option to use spikes, enhancing traction as they navigate the muddy trails typical for this time of year.
