Well Run X Dunkertons 5k Night Trail

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable running experience with the Well Run - Dunkertons Park 5k Night Trail, scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st, 2026. This unique evening race invites runners aged 16 and older to navigate a challenging yet friendly course under the glow of headtorches.
The event takes place at dusk in the scenic Dunkertons Park on London Road, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham. As you weave through trails illuminated only by your own light source, you'll encounter twists and turns that test both mental fortitude and physical endurance. The race is designed to foster a sense of community among runners while promoting good mental health.
Participants will gather at the registration desk between 5:30 PM and 6:45 PM on the day of the event to collect their bib numbers. A crucial briefing session, led by organizers, begins promptly at 7:05 PM where all participants must attend for course details and safety guidelines. The race itself commences at 7:00 PM sharp.
Competitors will compete in a gender-specific category with prizes awarded to the top three finishers in both men's and women's divisions. Refreshments provided by Dunkertons, located near Race HQ, are available before and after the event for participants to enjoy while socializing or recuperating from their efforts.
To ensure everyone’s safety during this nighttime adventure, runners must adhere strictly to rules prohibiting any listening devices that could impede communication with marshals and other road users. This ensures clear visibility of race numbers as well; bibs should be prominently displayed on the front for easy identification at checkpoints and finish lines.
Race entry is available until October 18th, 2026, or earlier if capacity limits are reached. On-site registration will also be possible up to event day if spots remain open. Please note that no refunds can be issued once an entry has been made but entries may still be transferred with proper approval from the Race Administrator.
