WENDOVER WILD FESTIVE TRAIL RUNS 2026

Celebrate the festive season with WILD DEER TRAILS as they venture into Wendover Woods, nestled within the picturesque Chiltern Hills. This December 2026 event promises to be an unforgettable family-friendly experience, perfect for a last run before Christmas.
The trail offers something for all ages and abilities. For younger participants over three years old, there's a charming Family Santa Mile where kids can enjoy running alongside their parents who get in free. Older runners will have the option of tackling either a 5-mile route suitable for those aged 11 and up or an exhilarating 10-mile course designed for athletes aged 15 and over.
Wendover Woods provides a stunning backdrop with its lush trails winding through enchanting woodland and offering breathtaking views across the rolling Chiltern Hills. The atmosphere is festive, making this race a perfect end-of-year tradition to enjoy as a family or with friends.
Upon crossing the finish line at either distance, participants will be rewarded with more than just their efforts; they'll receive medals and commemorative Wild Deer merchandise such as socks or buffs.
