Wet Rock Race 2026

On July 24, 2026, runners and swimmers will converge on the waters between Gullholmen and Käringön for an exhilarating race. Participants will make their way from one island to another, experiencing the serene beauty of Stockholm’s archipelago.
The event offers a unique blend of swimming and running challenges set against breathtaking views. Swimmers will start at Gullholmen, diving into the clear waters that connect them to Käringön. Upon reaching shore on Käringön, runners take over for the concluding segment, navigating through picturesque landscapes and winding paths.
This race is more than just a competition; it’s an opportunity to support local organizations dedicated to water safety, community sports development, and island life enrichment. All proceeds from this event will go towards Sjöräddningssällskapet, Föreningen Käringöns Idrott och Fritid, and Föreningen Gullholmen.
