About the Event

Devon's Running Events invites you to join them for an inclusive and flexible running experience at Winter Challenge Day 1, scheduled for Saturday, January 23rd, 2027. Embracing the "TUGG" philosophy—Turn Up Get Going—you are free to arrive anytime between 7:30 AM and 2:30 PM but must complete your final lap by 3:30 PM.
The event caters to all skill levels, from casual walkers to seasoned runners. The course follows a picturesque old disused train line that has been transformed into a scenic route. Each loop measures precisely 5.3 kilometers and is entirely on tarmac, making it an accurately measured road race suitable for both competitive athletes and leisurely participants.
Participants can choose their own pace and distance, with the option to complete one lap or up to fourteen laps within the designated timeframe. Regardless of how many loops you manage, every finisher will receive a specially designed medal commemorating your achievement. The event's flexible approach ensures that everyone is welcomed as both a participant and winner.
Due to limited space, early registration is recommended. Should capacity be reached before your entry, you'll still have the opportunity to pick from a selection of custom medals available on race day. This unique challenge offers an ideal setting for runners looking to test their limits in a supportive environment while enjoying the serene beauty of Devon's countryside.
Please note that this event adheres strictly to permit number ARC and is sanctioned accordingly.
