Empower Women, End Drug Abuse: WOMEN LEAD – DRUGS RECEDE
On September 13, 2026, the Kandaswami Naidu College in Anna Nagar, Chennai will host a powerful event aimed at spreading awareness about drug addiction. Organized by Partners Committee District 3233 and SRD Create Lasting Impact, this run isn't just an athletic competition; it's a movement that unites women of all ages to advocate for health, fitness, and the choice of life over addiction.
Registration includes taking a pledge against drugs, symbolizing commitment to personal well-being and inspiring youth. The event welcomes participants aged 14-21 (born between 2012 and 2005), 22-35 (between 2004 and 1991), 36-45 (between 1990 and 1981), and those over 45 (before 1980). Each runner can choose between a 3KM or 5KM course, both priced at Rs. 499.
Participants will enjoy numerous perks including breakfast, refreshments, physio support, Zumba sessions, and more. The event provides T-shirts in various sizes from XS to XXXL for comfort during the run. Bib collection is set for September 12, 2026 (Saturday) at Decathlon Mogappair in Chennai.
