Empower Yourself: A Comprehensive Self-Defense Training Program Join the Kolkata Athletic Community (KAC) and God of Athletes Fighting Championship (GAFC) for an empowering 4-week self-defense program designed to enhance your confidence, combat readiness, and situational awareness. This practical training series is open to beginners with no prior experience in boxing or martial arts. The course will take place every Saturday from August 29th to September 19th, 2026, at Twist & Turns in New Town, Kolkata, offering participants a safe space to learn essential self-defense skills. Sessions run from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and are led by experienced coaches and combat-sports athletes with State and National-level credentials. Throughout the program, you will master fundamental techniques such as boxing stances, guard positions, basic striking moves like jabs and hooks, defensive kicks, and escape maneuvers from grabs and chokes. You'll also gain an understanding of clinch control, close-range defense tactics, blocking strategies, footwork, and counter-techniques. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning and real-life application to ensure that participants can confidently apply their skills in various scenarios. Each session will include simulated self-defense situations to build decision-making abilities and a survival mindset. Ideal for women, students, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone looking to enhance personal safety, this program is beginner-friendly and focuses on practical skill development rather than theoretical knowledge alone. Participants will receive an official T-shirt upon registration and earn a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course. With limited spots available, early registration is mandatory to secure your place in this empowering journey towards self-protection and confidence-building.
