Celebrating its 16th year, the Worcester Full and Half Marathon has become a beloved fixture for runners seeking scenic routes and challenging courses. The race begins near the historic grounds of Worcester RFC Rugby Club on Hindlip Lane.
The full marathon route offers two laps around picturesque rural lanes, with an additional stretch during the second loop that enhances its allure. For those opting for the half marathon, the journey starts alongside the full marathon for the initial lap before diverging at mile 11 to create a unique course back to the finish line. Adding variety to this year's event is a new 10K option, which begins with an enchanting 4-kilometer stretch along the serene canal towpath before merging onto the main race route for its return leg. This shorter distance provides runners with a taste of both scenic beauty and competitive spirit.
