"Xialu Encounter, Double World Heritage Taima" - Taining Half Marathon & Fujian Marathon League 2026 (Taining Station) ("霞路相逢 双世泰马"·2026泰宁半程马拉松暨福建省马拉松联赛（泰宁站）)

A key stop on the Fujian Marathon League, this half marathon starts 7:30 AM on Sunday, October 25 at the Taining Civic Center, Sanming, Fujian, with a 10,000-runner cap for its single half-marathon (21.0975km). Registration is first-come, first-served.
Now in its 11th year, the Taining Marathon has grown into a flagship sport-and-tourism event tied to Taining's dual UNESCO status as a World Natural Heritage Site and World Geopark. The classic course links the thousand-year-old old town's historic streets with the waterfront scenery of Dajin Lake, taking in red rock formations and clear water alongside the old town's cultural depth.
Race week also brings a food market, marathon expo, and intangible-heritage folk performances, with registered runners getting free admission to Dajin Lake, Zhaixia Grand Canyon, Shangshu Di, and Jiulong Pool.
The day before the half marathon, a 4.6km untimed "Taining Landscape Fun Run" also takes place, open to families.
