Xialu Encounter - Three Mountains Five Peaks Lushan Trail Race 2026 (霞路相逢·三山五岳2026庐山越野赛)
About the Event
Starting and finishing at Guling Street Park, Lushan, Jiujiang, Jiangxi, this race runs September 25-27 (overlapping this year's Mid-Autumn holiday) with a 4,000-runner cap across "Beyond the Clouds" 60K, "Cloud Trail" 41K, "Racing Pines and Ravines" 30K, "Suspended Silk of the Nine Heavens" 20K, and solo/family "Friends of the Clouds" 5K. Registration is first-come, first-served, co-organized by the trusted Monster/Little Sun race team; entrants get free Lushan admission and cable-car fare September 22-30 with race bib and ID. The 60K (800 runners, 60.7km actual, ~3,542m gain, ITRA ~3 points) starts Sept 27 5:00 with a 17-hour cutoff; the 41K (900 runners, 42.1km, ~2,427m gain, ITRA ~2 points) starts 5:30 with an 11-hour cutoff; the 30K (900 runners, 31.6km, ~1,758m gain, ITRA ~2 points) starts 6:00 with a 9-hour cutoff; the 20K (900 runners, 20.2km, ~1,212m gain, ITRA ~1 point) starts 7:30 with an 8-hour cutoff; the 5K (500 runners, 5.4km, ~158m gain) starts 7:30 with a 2-hour cutoff. Lushan was UNESCO World Heritage-listed in 1996, China's first site recognized as a world cultural landscape. The Three-Tier Spring waterfall, the boulders of Haohan Slope, and the morning bell at Donglin Temple make the course as much an encounter with the whole mountain as a race.
