York 5K (AUG '26)

Even Splits York 5K races take place monthly from February through November, setting the stage for runners looking to push their limits on the flat and speedy circuit of the University of York Sport Village Cycle Circuit. This venue offers ideal conditions for achieving personal best times in a 5K race.
Each event is meticulously organized with chip timing and EA licensing, ensuring accurate results that are promptly shared via text message as soon as you cross the finish line. Your detailed kilometre splits will be available online through Power of 10 shortly after your run. To top it off, participants receive a chocolate bar at the end to celebrate their accomplishment.
Whether aiming for self-improvement or competing against clubmates and rivals, this monthly series provides ample opportunities to track progress over time. The entry fee is £10/£12 per race, but you can save both money and effort by purchasing in bulk ahead of schedule.
First-time participants will be given a unique race number complete with an embedded timing chip upon registration at the event’s start line. This number remains valid for use not only at York 5K races but also at Leeds events throughout the year. If you've previously been issued a RED 5K race number from any of the past five years, it can still be utilized in 2026; simply ensure to include this information on your entry form.
All entrants are entitled to one complimentary replacement of their race number within a 12-month period. Any additional replacements will incur an extra charge of £4 per new number.
