Leeds 5K (JUL'26)

The Even Splits Leeds 5K series offers runners the opportunity to test their speed and endurance on a monthly basis from February through November, hosted at the University of Leeds Brownlee Centre. Each race features chip timing and is EA licensed, ensuring accurate results that are immediately available via text message upon crossing the finish line.
Participants can track their progress over time with detailed mile splits published online shortly after each event. A sweet reward awaits runners at the end in the form of a chocolate bar, adding a touch of delight to the experience.
Whether you're competing solo or joining as part of a club, these races provide an ideal setting for personal challenges and friendly competition alike. The entry fee is £10 or £12 per race, but those looking to save on costs can opt for bulk purchases in advance.
For first-time entrants, a unique timing chip embedded within your race number will be provided at registration. This number remains valid not only across all Leeds 5K races throughout the year but also extends its utility to York 5K events. If you have an older RED race number from previous years (2020-2025), it can still be used in 2026, provided it is recorded on your entry form.
To ensure convenience and cost-effectiveness for regular participants, each entrant receives one complimentary number replacement within a year. Additional replacements will incur a £4 fee per instance.
